Alpha Kappa Psi is a professional business fraternity of men and women dedicated to advancing the individuals and professions represented in the organization. Our activities encompass professional development, creating brotherhood among our members, and providing service to the community.

Alpha Kappa Psi is America's first professional business fraternity. Founded October 5, 1904 at New York University, AKPsi now has around 200 college and 20 alumni chapters; more than 235,000 members have been initiated since 1904.

Through its various Alumni Chapters and members located throughout the U.S., Alpha Kappa Psi offers a permanent, professional association with a select group of college-trained individuals, an association of real value, both professionally and socially.

Alpha Kappa Psi teaches and emphasizes the observance of high standards of personal and professional conduct and ethics.

Membership affords tremendous networking opportunities through contact with alumni members in business and recruiters from our corporate sponsors, which can assist student members in vocational guidance and help them obtain employment or secure more desirable positions.

Other intangible values of membership include: opportunity for improvement of individual personality and ability through experience with others; development of the ability to work with others, to plan and carry out various projects, to speak before a group, to preside over meetings, and to lead others; and friendly, formal and informal association between students and faculty.
